Annual Ride for Robert

Thanks to all of you who posted on the Annual Ride for Robert Facebook page.

 

Monday, August 14, 2023: This year's Annual Event will cover the weekend - August 12 & 13 -  and will

include an online component to encourage participation.

 

Robert loved to swim, hike, bicycle, and kayak and he was never afraid to give of his time to help someone else, sometimes making his own schedule more difficult. He was kind and thoughtful, always aware of others and wanting them to feel included.

 

Each year we ask people to move (walk, run, hike, bike, swim, sail, kayak...) in "Robertesque" ways,

or to share a random act of kindness,  take a picture, and then post it on our Facebook page

"Annual Ride for Robert".

 

 In the past, hIs dad and I typically went for a motorcycle "Tour About", going to places he loved - around Green Lake in Spicer and through the park at Robbin's Island in Willmar. We have recently changed from motorcycles to ebikes and will do the same "Tour About" over the course of these three days.

If you'd like to join us, let us know. It's a wonderful way to remember Robert.
